We loved this Inn in the historic area of Newport. It was the perfect combination of charming, well decorated, quiet, and in the best location. Our room was bright and cheerful, very comfortable with a beautiful marble bathroom. On One of the days we were there it was raining and we were perfectly happy to sit in the room and read for hours. Staying there was like being a guest in somebody€™s fabulously renovated old house. There was even a manager on site all day who checked on us from time to time to make sure everything was going well. We were so surprised to walk up to the third floor and see a wonderful little dining room with beautiful windows looking over the water in the distance. It was like a perfect breakfast cafe. There was also a sunny pleasant deck with views. The breakfast was ample and just right, and the coffee was excellent. We were able to walk everywhere from our location. We walked to the cliff walk, shopping, and also to restaurants many times over our stay. Our car was safe a couple of blocks from the Inn in an assigned spot behind a church.
If you like charm, comfort, and updated decorating, look no further. We will stay here again next time. ~ Julie
